ELECTRICITY

SHOES CLOTHES

What are the common methods of logistics sorting currently available to you?

Release time:2023-08-24 09:02:37 Source:小编 Click:

Logistics sorting refers to the classification, grouping, and organization of goods according to order requirements in warehouses and logistics centers, in order to facilitate more efficient storage and distribution. With the continuous development of the logistics industry and technological progress, the logistics sorting methods are gradually becoming diversified.

The first thing to introduce is the traditional manual sorting method. This method is the most traditional and fundamental sorting method. Logistics workers manually remove goods from the warehouse according to order requirements, classify them through visual inspection, comparison, and experience, and then load them into corresponding packaging boxes or pallets. The advantage of this method is its low cost, which is suitable for small-scale warehouses and situations where the quantity of goods is small. However, manual sorting has problems such as high labor costs and low efficiency, which cannot meet the large-scale and efficient logistics needs.

Next is the mechanical automatic sorting method. With the development of technology, intelligent mechanical equipment is gradually being applied in the logistics industry. Automatic sorting equipment can automatically sort goods to designated locations through mechanical devices such as robotic arms, conveyor belts, and conveyor lines based on order requirements and warehouse layout. The advantages of this method are fast sorting speed, high accuracy, high efficiency, and the ability to achieve 24-hour continuous work. Automatic sorting equipment can adopt different technologies according to different needs, such as RFID technology, laser scanning technology, etc., to improve the accuracy and efficiency of sorting. However, the cost of mechanical automatic sorting equipment is relatively high, requiring large-scale investment and equipment maintenance. At the same time, the operation and maintenance of the equipment require professional technical personnel, which has certain requirements for human resources.

Once again, there is a human-machine collaborative sorting method. This approach involves collaborating between humans and machines, fully leveraging their respective strengths, and achieving high efficiency and accuracy in sorting. The human-machine collaborative sorting method allocates order tasks to logistics workers and automatic sorting equipment through an intelligent sorting task allocation system. Logistics workers are responsible for handling and judging complex orders, completing tasks that are difficult to be replaced by machines, while automatic sorting equipment is responsible for handling large quantities and repetitive tasks. This method can maximize the efficiency and accuracy of sorting while reducing labor costs. However, the human-machine collaborative sorting method requires certain technical support and artificial intelligence algorithms, as well as certain requirements for management systems and warehouse layout.

Finally, there is an unmanned sorting method. Unmanned sorting refers to the use of robots and artificial intelligence technology to achieve automation and intelligence in warehouses. The unmanned sorting method uses robots to pick, transport, and store goods, achieving an unmanned sorting process. Robots can accurately locate and identify goods through technologies such as laser navigation and visual recognition, and place them in designated positions. The unmanned sorting method can achieve high-speed and efficient sorting, and can adapt to warehouse environments of different scales and complexities. However, the technology and equipment of unmanned sorting still have certain limitations, and further research and improvement are needed.

At present, there are several common methods of logistics sorting, including traditional manual sorting, mechanical automatic sorting, human-machine cooperation sorting, and unmanned sorting. Different methods are applicable to different warehouse sizes, quantity of goods, and sorting requirements. When choosing a suitable sorting method for oneself, it is necessary to consider factors such as the characteristics of the warehouse, the demand for orders, economic benefits, and combine with the trend of technological development to choose a method that can improve work efficiency and reduce costs. Regardless of the approach, it is necessary to plan and manage reasonably, fully leverage the advantages of technology, to meet customer needs and enhance enterprise competitiveness.
